Blizzarding

So apparently I'm that type of crazy that wants to go to the zoo super early on a Saturday when we're supposed to be getting a massive snow storm. I don't know why I thought that was a good idea going in (cause I'm not a big fan of winter), but coming out it was the best experience. Also luckily enough, Danielle is my type of crazy because she agreed to go traipsing through an empty zoo with me during a blizzard. Thanks girl! 

Looking back though, that was one of the most fun shoots I've ever had. We had the entire St. Louis Zoo all to ourselves. It felt a little apocalyptic but all the Zoo employees were nice enough to let us get up close and personal with the animals.

As much fun as seeing the animals on their off days was, the true magic came when we decided to brave the cold and took the shoot outside.
